The Albisbrunn Carousel has, for generations, been among the most treasured of Albisbrunn Spielwaren toys. This is now quite a special piece as Albisbrunn Spielwaren closed for good in 2024 after nearly 100 years of trading. The carousel can be completely taken apart. The figures are hand-painted.
As early as 1926, toys were being made in Albisbrunn. Some of the classic toys have been produced unchanged for more than 80 years. The carousel was likely developed in Germany and has been made in solid maple wood at Albisbrunn since around 1930.
