Small Wooden Spade/Shovel

When we bought this, the seller told us this was a little child's spade but a little research says this could be curd or malt shovel. Either way this piece is a really stunning piece of wood - beautifully carved. I can see this looking beautiful styled in a utility room or a garden room - perhaps up on the wall?
