St Uze is a very collectable pottery design from the St Uze ceramic factory in the Drome region of France. It is a type of stoneware called 'fire porcelain' which is a stoneware that consists of kaolin and feldspar. The St Uze pattern is iconically recognisable and adds a wonderful cottage feel to a home. This strainer would have originally stood one top of a jug and comes in three parts - a lid, a strainer and then the collecting base. Very old and lovely.

Pre-loved: in vintage condition with scratches, marks and dinks here and there. This was why I loved it.
