This teeny cardboard box would make the most wonderful ring or jewellery gift box. The box reads 'Pastil Censer'. A pastille-burner was a device used to burn a small, compressed mixture of aromatic plant material and charcoal to release its odour. A pastil censer was particularly used for religious purposes. This one would have been very small and probably for personal use.
I particularly love the bright pink inside to this box.
