Caldo Verde (or green soup) is a traditional Portuguese soup made with potatoes, chorizo, and thinly sliced greens. It is hearty, homely and comforting, which are the exact words I would use to describe these bowls. They had so much character there was no way I could leave these behind. You could use them, but I can see these perched on a shelf adding so much rustic charm. And... now I've looked into this recipe, I think I am going to make it!
