Five fabulous fish-shaped plates by Burgess & Leigh, makers of the much-loved Burleigh Ware pottery.
Each plate is beautifully moulded with a fish's head, fins and tail forming the edges, all finished in a soft cream glaze. There's something wonderfully playful about them, particularly when laid out together on a table.
Made in Burslem, Staffordshire, these characterful plates are a lovely example of British pottery design. Just the thing for a seafood supper, although I'd be equally tempted to hang them on a kitchen wall.

Pre-loved: Vintage condition with visible glaze crazing and signs of age. Note these plates aren't glossy like your typical plate, more of a matte finish.
