I believe, although not signed, this Terrine dish was created by Michel Caugant. Caugant was a French paté maker during 1930s. He sold luxury food in his shop in Bretagne. His son, Michel, created animal shaped tureen dishes to sell the most expensive paté. These tureens have now become very collectible and sought after.
