A wonderful early Emma Bridgewater jug dating to 1986, decorated with loose, hand-painted vegetables in the charmingly informal style of her earliest pottery.
Pieces from the 1980s have a noticeably different feel from later production, with more variation in the painting and a real handmade quality. A particularly lovely piece for collectors of early Emma Bridgewater, but still completely at home being used for flowers or on the kitchen table.
