This one is all about the surface: softly greyed stoneware, visible throwing lines and plenty of wear from use. The slightly wonky rim and simple loop handle give it a very honest, utilitarian feel. Think farmhouse kitchen.
A particularly good piece for anyone who likes old ceramics that still look as though they’ve come straight off a working shelf rather than out of a cabinet.

Pre-loved: chippy and old - exactly why I like it! Note, photographing this jug was a little challenging as one side has a patch of shiny darker glaze and the other side is a lighter colour.
