Have you ever seen something quite as exquisitely made as this? Made in Germany, I am pretty sure this is one of my favourite things I have ever found. This little piece was made for carrying hot soft-boiled eggs to the breakfast table, the baby chick serving as the handle. I would have been absolutely enthralled with this a child. Well, being honest, I am as a fully grown adult!Â
Dimensions: 14cm diameter, 12cm height.Â
Pre-loved: the paint of the chick has faded in some areas and there would have originally been gilding over the edges of the cracked eggs.Â
