French novelty silver plated mignonette sauce (shallot and vinegar sauce added to oysters) dish and cover, with glass liner, in the form of an oyster shell. Signed to the underside of the base by M. Gouaille. A very special addition to the dinner table. I can even imagine this filled with caviar.
Dimensions: 12cm long, 5cm height.
Pre-loved: In excellent order with light surface wear. No damage to the glass.
