A brilliant pair of old French food tins for Diase Céréale, a Jacquemart malted cereal preparation made for infants. The original typography is still wonderfully clear, with blue and cream printed labels and instructions running around the sides.
The contrast between the two is what makes them so good together. One has retained much more of its original blue finish, while the other is heavily oxidised and wonderfully timeworn. Same tin, two completely different lives.
