A lovely pair of 20th-century stoneware (of what I believe to be) egg cups by Robert and Sheila Fournier of Lacock Pottery in Wiltshire.
Each is finished with the impressed ‘LACOCK’ seal mark, identifying them as pieces from the Fournier studio. Simple, tactile and very usable, they are a great example of British studio pottery and a lovely little find for collectors of handmade ceramics.
Note - I personally found these slightly too small to be used as tealight holders but if you have small tea lights, they'd work!
