In 1960, a radio like the R200 was considered as a luxury being affordable by only well-off families. It sold for around £20 depending on the wholesale price. Now, put into context, at the same time a brand new Ford Popular motor car was about £275. This is a two-band radio, covering the long-wave and medium-wave. It does work (George replaced the outdated Roberts battery with a new 9V size functioning batteries). I'd use this as a timeless styling piece.
