A wonderfully playful set of hand-blown glass cocktail sticks, each topped with a different little animal or character, including birds, a dog, ladybird and other wonderfully quirky figures.
They have the look of mid-century Murano or Venetian glass, with individually formed details and bright coloured glass, although without labels or provenance I wouldn’t attribute them firmly to Murano. Each one is slightly different, which is very much part of their charm.
Originally made for cocktails, olives and hors d’oeuvres, they’re a brilliant little set for anyone who loves vintage barware or collectable art glass.
