Made for Pernot, the historic Dijon biscuit manufacturer, this round tin would originally have held their Altesse biscuits. Pernot was once one of Dijon's best-known biscuit makers, and its decorative packaging was an important part of the brand's appeal.
This example has certainly seen some life! The beautifully worn surface, faded colours and patches of rust give it bags of character.
