A personal favourite! Prise this out of my hands dammit! I collect these so I am hard to part with this brilliantly characterful old artist’s palette, covered in layers of dried paint from years of use. The mix of reds, blues, greens and ochres has built up into something almost painterly in its own right.
These traditional wooden palettes were working tools rather than decorative objects, which is exactly what makes this one so appealing now. A great piece of vintage artist’s equipment for displaying on a wall, propped on a shelf or mixed in with old brushes and studio finds.
